In wedding photography the artist has to deliver not only an amazing coverage, but also a few stunning images that define the big day. At this Chateau Le Parc marriage, I created a series of new concepts that was so powerful and unique, that my work was selected to be featured by several prestigious bridal magazines.
Needless to say, the couple was delighted when they saw their wedding pictures and heard of the publication.

While the beautiful bride was getting ready for her ceremony, I took a series of portraits of her. However, these were normal images anybody can take. As such, I was looking for something special. After all, my bride and grooms hire me to deliver extraordinary imagery on their special day. Of course, this perfect wedding deserved an amazing job and I know we didn't disappoint.
While the makeup artist was working her magic, I pulled my cell phone and started using it as a reflective surface. I waited until the bride give us a beautiful smile and I press the shutter button. The result? The bride is looking at her reflection and smiling. It is a beautiful shot that captures a moment of that big day the bride will always remember.
The reason I love the getting ready part of the special event is that I have the control over the situation and I can direct my subjects to achieve beautiful images. As you can expect, once the ceremony started at the event space, I had to adopt a pure documentary photography style.
