It is always a pleasure photographing a marriage at Chateau le Parc. This event space has plenty of gorgeous backdrops that make a wedding photographer's work a breeze. First, the lobby features massive windows and a modern looking wall, perfect for family pictures. The direction of light is right towards the wall, which helps reduce the wrinkles if one is taking photos of elders.
The courtyard is an incredible space to tie the knot when the weather allows it. During the summer, the breeze keeps your guests cool while in the fall, the gas warmers installed by the establishment keep a pleasant temperature during the ceremony and cocktail hour.
On the upper floor you have two bridal suites where the bridal party can get ready or enjoy a moment of peace before the reception.

In this photograph taken during the ceremony we can see a happy groom looking at his beautiful bride. His face is framed by the bride and her grandfather who walked her down the aisle. The joy on the groom's face makes this image one of my favourites in my whole wedding career.
Often colours distract the viewer's attention from the essence of the photograph - the moment captured. As such, when I am lucky enough to catch such photo I convert it in black and white to preserve the photojournalistic nature of the image.
