Groom Kisses Bride at Old Mill Toronto

During the reception I asked the newlyweds to come outside for some splendid night shots. In the background we had the Old Mill, which was lit beautifully for a nice contrast with the dark sky. I like the natural feel of these shots, and the fact that it feels like the couple is having fun. It was a beautiful night, with a full moon. This couple was so excited about getting married that they couldn't wait to kiss each other for the first time. After all, love is in the air.

I had them pose in the courtyard. First, I took a few minutes to explain the concept of the photo photos to them, and then had them sit facing each other for a few moments of silence. It was important to let them reflect, and to feel the moment. This was their first kiss, their first taste of a lifetime of happiness.

The bride looked down at her bridegroom, who smiled back at her. He leaned forward and kissed her cheek. A simple gesture, but so intimate. They looked into each other's eyes for a moment, and the expression on his face was priceless. I love it when couples are natural in front of the camera.

You can see the look on the bride's face. She is glowing with love and happiness. The groom looks relaxed and happy, too. Then I asked them to kiss again. And this time they didn't hesitate. They hugged and kissed. They were thrilled to be doing this, and their joy radiated through the lens. When they saw their images, they were absolutely blown away. They were so happy to see themselves look so natural and real. That was the best part. They were amazed at how the lights and the shadows worked together to bring out the emotion in the photos. It was a true joy to be able to photograph their big day.
