As an Old Mill wedding photographer, I was privileged to capture this candid image of the bride arranging her dress at this wonderful location.
The Old Mill is a landmarked site and it is easy to see why it has been selected for many weddings. As a photographer, my role is to capture the moments you want to remember forever. I am often asked “what makes Old Mill so special?”
The answers are endless, but for a photographer, the Old Mill is one of the best locations to photograph. It is a beautiful setting and is a perfect backdrop for any type of event. The Old Mill is a landmarked site and it is easy to see why it has been selected for many weddings.
From my perspective, there’s nothing quite as beautiful as a woman standing in front of a mirror wearing something she’s been dreaming about for months. The look on her face as she’s trying to be sure the dress sits right is priceless.
It’s always nice to be able to share such intimate moments with clients who are happy to share them with the world.
It was fun shooting at the Old Mill. There was plenty of room for posing, and it gave us a chance to really shoot a couple of shots. The location really brought out the best of the bride, and I feel this image is a good example.
I’d like to think that I’m getting better at portraiture, but the truth is, there are moments where a good photograph is just luck. When that happens, I hope that I can be able to tell a story, or make a moment more memorable.
