After the groom got ready in his suite, we headed to the second floor where I asked the boys to relax and enjoy a drink for the ceremony in the Crystal Ballroom. They were very happy to oblige and while they were telling stories and engaging in libations, I took a few photos of them. This is one of those images that any photographer would be proud to have in his portfolio. It captures a candid moment when one of the groomsmen toasted and everybody raised their glass cheering.
Of the beauty of this image is givenby the fact there is another reflection of the couple towards the bottom of the frame. On the wedding I always look for opportunities to create art and reflections are one of my favourites. However often we are not able to find shiny surfaces. In such situations, pull my trusted cell phone and use it to create a reflection.
Truth be told, I could use Photoshop to do the same thing in post production but I find my images in a more natural when everything is done in camera.
