Newlyweds Laugh after Wedding in the Crystal Ballroom
This special event in the Crystal Ballroom King Edward Hotel abounded in love and joy. This is only one of those moments that peppered the wedding day in which we, professional photographers managed to capture. On the right-hand side we can see the newlyweds couple laughing. Their position in the foreground makes it clear that they are the main subject of the image. On the left-hand side, a few guests look at the happy couple. Their gazes create a virtual leading line towards the bride and groom.
The complementary colours in this image make it visually pleasing. In the foreground, the orange skin tones of the newlyweds beautifully complement the blue up lighting in the background. As we know, the blue and orange create the most pleasing and harmonious colour pair the human eye.
What makes this shot powerful is not the composition or the colours but rather the genuine emotions of the bride and groom. It is hard to fake such true happiness and love; the couple's joy exudes through every pixel of this photograph and makes the viewer feel that he's part of the scene
