Newlyweds Enjoy a Moment Together During King Edward Hotel Wedding

While in photography style is documentary, I enjoyed directing my couples when I see a an opportunity for beautiful portrait. This is one of those situations where the background of the building in front of King Edward Hotel was conducive to a beautiful environmental portrait of the bride and groom. Because the couple and their wedding planner did an amazing job planning the special day we had plenty of time for the photo shoot. Immediately after the ceremony we headed around the beautiful hotel for the bride and groom photography session. First, we started at Tom Jones, a steakhouse across from King Eddie. As a side note, the massive wooden door of the building constitutes a perfect backdrop and I love capturing the couple's portraits.

This photograph depicts the bride and groom sitting at the table holding hands. The white backdrop makes the subject stand out. The light is perfect as this spot is surrounded by tall buildings in the diffused light is a professional photographer's dream.

The image tells a romantic story of the newlyweds taking a moment for themselves on their special day. The bride simply left her bouquet on the table and touched the groom's hand in a pure manifestation of love. They look at each other smiling and even though this is a posed photograph, it looks very natural. One of the actions of the best wedding photographers is that distinct quality of being able to make an image look natural and the moments genuine.
