This is one of my favourite images I captured at this special event at Château Le Parc. The shot captures the moment when the groom picked up his grandmother and put her on his shoulder and started dancing hip hop.
This special event boasted the most fun wedding reception I have shot in my wedding photography career and it included live music, dancers, a professional entertainment team and even a fire show. This photograph captures the whole essence of the big day and shows the grandmother having a lot of fun with her grandson.
In the background, we can see a huge engagement photograph of the bride and groom. I love the sense of and I mention given by the two plans or stories if you wish. The foreground showcases the groom and his grandmother while the background shows the bride and groom in a park on a beautiful summer day. I remember when we did their engagement photos the couple was so excited that it was the first time when I did have to direct anybody but rather they prompted me.
The engagement photography session was a prelude to this splendid wedding about which everyone, including Wedluxe raved!
