Sometimes weddings are serious. Most often though they are fun. This was one of the most fun and emotional Barcelo Maya Palace Deluxe wedding I have ever photographed.
As you can see in the first image of the photo montage, the bride and her best friend are posing for the camera and enjoying themselves. Next photo shows the same couple of friends sitting on a couch and relaxing before a hectic day. Finally, the last image of the spread shows the bride hugging her friend and smiling happily.
As a stylistic choice, these images were shot using a Dutch tilt, or a Dutch angle, technique where the camera is rotated around its lens axis to create a tilt. This five to ten degree tilt transforms the horizontal and vertical lines into diagonals giving the photos dynamism.
