Bride's Unveiling on Her Roma's Hospitality Centre Wedding Day

This album spread depicts the moment when the bride appeared in front of the bridesmaids and her mother before leaving for her Roma's Hospitality Centre wedding ceremony. The bride unveiling is always an emotional part of the wedding day and, as a Toronto wedding photographer, I learned not only to capture moments but also to elicit them. As such, I placed the mother of the bride and the bridesmaids at the bottom of the staircase so I can capture their reactions. As a result, I was rewarded with a stunning wedding picture. In the foreground, we can see the bride's upper body. In the background the bridesmaids in the bride's mother are looking at her. The range of emotions immortalized by this photograph make it stand out. From a a teary mother to smiling sisters, surprised friends and yelling maid of honour, we have it all. During the bride's preparation, I always employ the following technique: while I'm taking shots of the mother and the bride, I gently ask the mother to cry for me. As a result I either get real tears or in some cases a loud laughter. No matter what the mother's reaction is, the images are stunning.

The image features the mother of the bride helping her descend onto the bottom right side of the frame. In this image I used a foreground background layering technique to give the picture depth.

Finally, in the last picture on the spread, we see a smiling bride looking towards the other shots as if she's watching her wedding day from a different angle.
