Any professional wedding photographer should have a list of poses so in a crunch he could deliver amazing results to the couple. I do not believe in creativity under pressure and not having a plan is a recipe for disaster in wedding photography.
The easiest pose where every couple feels natural is the walking shot. After all we walk every day of our lives and walking feels very natural. A walking shot is it going to warm up for the more static pictures of the writing room.
In this picture you could see the newlywed couple walking towards the wedding reception venue at Kortright Centre. The picture has a candid feel because the couple was relaxed and the ready to party.
It is very clear to see the love they have for each other, which is the foundation for any gorgeous picture.
I love the colours used here. Blue is a great colour for a wedding because it is classic and easy to look after. It looks really good in pictures, it goes with everything and is a nice colour to blend with white.
This was taken in the early afternoon, but I would have preferred to have the light to be softer, later that evening.
