Bride Sees The Groom During their Chateau Le Parc Wedding Ceremony

One of the most intense moments of the wedding day was that when the bride walked down the aisle at Château Le Parc accompanied by her father and her right.

Bride and Groom Lock Glances

This photograph captures the exact moment when the bride, walking down the aisle raised her eyes and saw the groom waiting for her. The image immortalizes her father looking at the bride in the foreground while she is smiling at the groom.

This shot is symbolical and encompasses a series of feelings. On the one hand we can see the father is obviously proud and happy for his daughter. Also, we note this is clenching his teeth realizing that from now on she is no longer dead's little girl but will be a married woman. The bride his only eyes for the groom and looks towards her future.

To capture this photograph I used a Canon 85 mm lens mounted on a 5D Mark III camera. We did not use any flash but rather the natural light to capture the beauty of the moment without disturbing or altering it.

To preserve the documentary photography feel, I chose a black and white processing. Besides that, I performed basic skin retouching, adjusted the levels and curves and added a selective vignette.
